CPI(M) office set on fire in Howrah

A CPI(M) party office was set ablaze at Jagatballavpur area in Howrah district early triggering tension in the locality.

Howrah (WB): A CPI(M) party office was
set ablaze at Jagatballavpur area in Howrah district early on Sunday triggering tension in the locality.

Police said the CPI(M) branch office was gutted after
unidentified miscreants set it on fire possibly at around
12-30 am.
Some cash, stored in the office, was also found to be
taken away by the miscreants before the arson.
While the left front blamed "Trinamool
Congress-sheltered miscreants" for the attack, police did not
confirm the identity of the arsonists.
