Siliguri: A leopard on Monday entered into the house and injured two persons here in the city.
The leopard entered the house of Biswanath Ghosh at Hakim Para in ward 15 and attacked his wife Mina Ghosh and a neighbour Litan at about 10.40 AM, DFO Dharma Deo Rai said.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital.
Later, forest officials tranquilised the leopard and took the animal to a rehabilitation centre.
