Washington: Former US president George Bush was discharged from hospital after being treated for a broken neck bone, a media report said.
The former president was discharged on Sunday and he is experiencing no complications or further damage, said Jim McGrath, Bush`s spokesman.
"A very grateful President GeorgeHWBush was discharged from @MaineMed after four days of treatment for a fractured vertebrae," McGrath said on Twitter.
Bush, 91, broke his C2 vertebrae after falling at his home and spent four days in a hospital in Portland. He will have to wear a neck brace till complete recovery.
Bush suffers from a form of Parkinson`s that makes impossible to walk and he moves around in a wheelchair.
