Malala Yousafzai`s blood-stained clothes to be displayed in Oslo

Oslo: Malala Yousafzai's, who defied Taliban in Pakistan and demanded that girls be allowed to receive an education and was shot in the head in 2012, clothes are being displayed in Oslo.

The blood-stained clothes are the one which she was wearing on the day she was shot by Taliban gunmen while on her way home from school.

The grim garments will be shown at the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo and will be part of an exhibition to honour present and past Nobel Peace Prize laureates as this year's prize is awarded to Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarth in the Oslo City Hall on December 10.

In October 2014, Yousafzai received the Nobel Peace Prize, along with Indian children's rights activist Kailash Satyarthi at age 17, becoming the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Malala still advocates for the power of education despite the threats posed by the Taliban. On October 10, 2013, the European Parliament, acknowledging her work awarded Malala the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.

She has also written an autobiography, 'I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban'.
