Ship collision leaves 4 S Korean fishermen dead

Seoul: A South Korean fishing boat collided with a Hong Kong cargo ship, killing four fishermen and leaving three others missing, an official said on Sunday.
The two ships collided in rough waters Saturday night about 80 miles (130 kilometres) southeast of South Korea`s Jeju Island, said local coast guard officer Kim Young-bong.

Two of the fishing boat`s nine crew were rescued by the Hong Kong vessel, Kim said.

The coast guard was searching for the missing fishermen.
