Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki on Sunday called for a common African anti-terrorist strategy.

Tunis: Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki on Sunday called for a common African anti-terrorist strategy, the official TAP press agency reported Monday.
During his talks with African heads of States on the sidelines of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, Marzouki called for a common anti-terror strategy of Africa, TAP said. Marzouki met respectively with the presidents of Mali, Senegal, and Burkina Faso, and talked the situation in Mali and its repercussions in north Africa with his counterparts.
He also called for an end to the foreign military intervention in Mali, stressing the need to uphold human rights, protect civilians, avoid reprisals and find a political solution to the current conflicts in Mali.
