Bollywood teen actor molestation case: Celebs slam incident, call it 'scary' and 'disturbing'

The teen actress was on her way to Mumbai and was travelling via Vistara airlines when the incident took place.

New Delhi: In an untoward incident, a molestation allegation was levelled by a popular Bollywood teen actor on a fellow passenger travelling via Vistara flight a day before.

The accused has been identified and reportedly booked by the cops under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) as the actor happens to be a minor.

Several Bollywood celebrities showered support to the actress and on the sidelines of an event reacted to the incident. Here's what they said:

Sridevi - It is very unpleasant to know it is very scary and upsetting it really scares me I am in shock.

Madhuri Dixit Nene- Something like this should not happen anywhere be it India or the world.

Kareena Kapoor Khan- I think women are more superior than the man we are fighters we all come out as fighters. Bhagwan ko bhi hum dekhte hai toh unko lakshmi ko aurat pukarte hai dharti ko bhi dharti maa kahkar pukarte hai women's are very superior we know how to fight.

Jackie Shroff - It's a shameful thing (Sharam ki baat hai).

Alia Bhatt - Just to talk about it is very disturbing just to think about it is very disturbing.

Sushant Singh Rajput- I think at the right place right time we have to take action also we are intelligent enough and we are responsible enough as a country to see to it that these things don't happen.

Zarine Khan - Only talking about women empowerment will not do any good, we have to stop all this nonsense.

Yami Gautam - It's extremely sad I think FIR has been registered we are waiting for the facts to come out.

Bhoomi Pednekar - She did have the courage on social media to stand out.

Jacqueline Fernandez - Everyone enjoys equal rights, there is absolutely no tolerance towards violence it's a joint effort society has to work towards it.

Urvashi Rautela- As a woman aap ko muh tod jawab Dena padhta hai the girl needs to be more strong.

Neetu Chandra - I think it's very sad what happened. I am concerned whatever legal action has to be should be taken.
