With the cruise packages, IRCTC is aiming to cater to domestic and international tourists to boost the tourism industry.
New Delhi: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) is all set to sail its first cruise near the serene waters of South and Western India on Saturday (September 18). IRCTC cruise packages have been launched in partnership with Cordelia Cruises, a homegrown cruise line operator.
By launching cruise packages for the first time, IRCTC is aiming to cater to domestic and international tourists to boost the tepid tourism industry. The Indian Railways has opened the bookings for cruise packages last month.
Tourists can currently book cruise packages for the month of October, November and December. IRCTC is selling cruise package tickets on its official website, which is irctctourism.com. Meanwhile, IRCTC is also in the process of signing an agreement with all major International Cruise liners to offer cruise packages on its website.

IRCTC is offering cruise packages that will allow tourists to witness mesmerising locations across South and West India. Tourists will be visiting the serene beaches of Goa, Diu, Lakshadweep and Kochi on a cruise depending on the package selected. Travellers will have to come to Mumbai to board a cruise.
