Renault India launches new Kiger trim to mark 10th anniversary: Check price, specs, other details

The French auto major has introduced the Kiger RXT (O) variant at Rs 7.37 lakh (ex-showroom) along with several attractive schemes and promotions for all the existing and potential customers in the month of August 2021.

The new Kiger trim comes with various features like LED headlamps, alloy wheels, and a PM 2.5 air filter among others. The dashboard also gets an impressive infotainment display. 

The 2021 Renault Kiger is powered by the new 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is said to be capable of generating maximum power of 72hp and a maximum torque of 96Nm.  

 

On the other hand, the turbo-petrol engine is capable of generating maximum power of 100hp and a peak torque of 160Nm.

In the compact SUV segment, the newly launched Renault Kiger will compete against Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, among others, with Nissan Magnite the closest competitor in the price range. 

Renault has announced the ‘Freedom Carnival' sale from August 6 to 15 across the country to celebrate its 10th anniversary except for Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Kerala. For these states, specific offers with maximum benefits up to Rs 90,000 have been launched to celebrate the festive fervour during the upcoming festivals of Ganesh Chathurthi and Onam. 

 

Renault has also announced a scheme for the purchase of Kwid, Triber and Kiger, wherein the buyers can opt for a new Renault vehicle now and start paying EMIs after 6 months.
