IAS officer scales Mt Everest with gangajal to spread 'Swachh Ganga' message

Ravindra Kumar, the first IAS officer to climb Mount Everest, once again successfully scaled the peak on Thursday (May 23). He had first climbed the tallest peak of the world in 2013.

Kumar carried Ganga jal (water) alongwith him during the expedition to spread the message of Swachh Ganga Abhiyan.

An IAS Officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre, Kumar is currently deployed with the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation in Government of India. Calling his expedition as 'Swachh Ganga Swachh Bharat Everest Abhiyaan 2019'
