Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee's residence in Kalighat, Kolkata wore a desolate look ahead of the polling results which has rarely been the case. West Bengal with 42 Lok Sabha constituencies has the third highest number of lawmakers in the lower house of Parliament. West Bengal has been a Trinamool Congress bastion for the last several years and it is yet to be seen if there will be a change in the state's political leanings during Lok Sabha election 2019.
