Mumbai Indians completed their third victory of the tournament, thanks to a brilliant all-round show.
After setting a target of 209, they restricted SRH to just 174/7 on the small ground of Sharjah, where the smallest score up until this point was 200.
Mumbai Indians posted a handsome total of 208/5 from their alloted 20 overs. Quinton de Kock anchored the innings with a rapid 67 off 39 balls, after the early dismissal of Rohit Sharma. He engaged in vital partnerships with Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan in the middle overs and never let the run-rate dwindle.
Hardik Pandya and Keiron Pollard made vital contributions right at the death but it was the fireworks from Krunal Pandya in the last over which powered Mumbai past the 200-run mark. Krunal scored a 20 off just 4 balls at the expense of SRH pacer Siddharth Kaul.

Warner tried to cut the wide leg cutter from Pattinson but the ball took a thick edge and Ishan Kishan completed a fantastic diving catch at short third man. Warner scored a brilliant 60 off 44 balls but ultimately no one gave him able company from the other end. That was perhaps, the end of the game for SRH. Warner fought a lone battle on the day as wickets keps tumbling at the other end.

Warner who had looked lacklustre in SRH's first four matches led from the front and completed a fighting half-century. He didn't take any unnecessary risk and tied-up one end to anchor the SRH innings. He engaged in a nice stand with Mnaish Pandey and then carried on after wickets kept falling at the other end.

Opener Jonny Bairstow was gone in the fifth over. He was the one who was timing them well but miscued a big shot against a slower ball from Trent Boult and Hardik Pandya took a good catch in the deep. Mumbai Indians finished the innings at a magnificient 208/5 from their 20 Overs. After De Kock's dismissal, Hardik Pandya (28 off 19) and Keiron Pollard (25 off 13) made vital contributions against some disciplined bowling from Rashid Khan and Natarajan.
But with just 1 run and a wicket coming from the first two balls of the final over bowled by Siddharth Kaul, Krunal Pandya came to the crease.
Pandya scored 20 runs from just 4 balls to power his side to 208/5. Pandya scored two huge sixes and two fours at the expense of Siddharth Kaul. Kaul finished with diappointing figures of 4-0-64-2. (Image Credits: Twitter/@mipaltan)

Quinton de Kock had struggled in MI's past four games and there were speculations that he would be dropped for this game.
The South African justified his side's faith with a brilliant knock of 67 from 39 balls . He didn't let the run rate drop after the early dismissal of his opening partner Rohit Sharma. He engaged in a quick 42-run stand with Suryakumar Yadav and followed it up with a 78-run stand with Ishan Kishan.
He was dropped by Manish Pandey early-on on graciously accepted the gift with a brilliant innings. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)
Sandeep Sharma gave the early breakthrough to SRH when he captured the huge wicket of Rohit Sharma in just the first over.
Rohit had hit him for a huge six early on but the wily pacer then bowled an away swinger wide outside the off stump. Rohit tried to chase the ball and got an edge. The Umpire had given not out but after loud appeals from the bowler and the wicket-keeper, Warner took the review and the original decision was then overturned.

SunRisers Hyderabad made two changes. Sandeep Sharma came in for the injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar while Siddharth Kaul replaced Khaleel Ahmed. It was interesting as SunRisers Hyderabad was coming into this match after two consecutive wins.
While Sandeep coming in was a forced change, Siddharth Kaul's inclusion was a tactical one as Khaleel Ahmed has leaked runs in their past few matches. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)
Mumbai Indians didn't make any changes from their last match against KXIP, which they had won by 48 runs. There was speculation that Quinton de Kock may be replaced as he had failed to get going in their four matches so far but they kep their faith in the South African. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)
