In the Super Over, Navdeep Saini was the hero for RCB, as he contained Mumbai to a paltry 7/1.

It was a brilliant over from Saini. He gave only 2 runs in the first three balls but then Pollard scored a four. The collosal West Indian was then dismissed on the penultimate ball in the deep as Saini nailed in another yorker. MI could score only 7 runs. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)

After Pandya’s dismissal, the Windies powerhouse Keiron Pollard came to the crease but initially, he failed to get going.

With the result of the match looking like a foregone conclusion, the duo started swinging their arms with Pollard, especially taking a liking towards RCB’s leg-spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Adam Zampa. The Mumbai duo scored 49 runs from the 17th and 18th overs, delivered by the two leggies.

With the score reading 39/3, Hardik Pandya (15 off 13; 6x1) and Ishan Kisha stitched a small stand and steadied the ship somewhat but the run-rate kept surging.

Brought into the side to replace an unfit Saurabh Tiwary, the youngster - Ishan Kishan grabbed the chance with both hands and was unfortunate to miss out on a well deserved century. He scored a brilliant (99 off 58 balls; 4x2, 6x9). He looked in good touch right from the onset. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)

It was brilliant stuff from AB de Villiers (55 off 24 balls; 4x4, 6x6). He took on MI spearhead Bumrah and hit two sixes and a four of the 17th over off the innings. Bumrah was struggling with his length. Bumrah’s final two overs went for 35 runs as Mumbai’s pace spearhead failed to nail in those trademark yorkers.

He was given good company in the end by all-rounder Shivam Dube (27 off 10 balls; 4x1, 6x3).

RCB scored 65 runs off the final four overs, where the Mumbai bowlers were put to the sword.

Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply. He disappointed again with the bat. He was dismissed for a miserly 3 off 11 balls. Rahul Chahar turned the match around. The balls was on the good length outside off and tossed-up. Kohli tried to drive to but was caught by Rohit Sharma at extra cover. The Indian captain has scored a cumulative 18 runs from his three innings in IPL 2020. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)
