Photo Gallery: Indian cricket team lands in Rajkot ahead of 2nd ODI against Australia

Team India reached Rajkot today for their second ODI match against Australia on Friday at the city's Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. India suffered a massive 10-wicket loss at the hands of the visitors on Tuesday in Mumbai. Aussie skipper Aaron Finch and David Warner chased down a target of 255 without losing a wicket.

After the loss on Tuesday, Indian skipper Virat Kohli had said that the batsmen may have been a bit too respectful to the Australian bowlers. 

Virat Kohli had batted down the order at number four instead of his usual spot of number three, whereas KL Rahul had been promoted up the order.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the second ODI after suffering from a concussion during the match in Mumbai. K L Rahul had kept the wickets for India in the first match.

The match in Rajkot is the second of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series, the third will be played in Bengaluru. 

The defeat in Mumbai was just the second ten-wicket loss for the Men in Blue on home turf. The first ten-wicket defeat was in 2005 against South Africa at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

The stand between David Warner and skipper Aaron Finch on Tuesday is Australia`s second-highest opening partnership in ODI cricket. This partnership is also the highest by any opening duo against India.

Meanwhile, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has said that he is ready to bat in the number 3 position. "If they ask me to bat at No.3, of course I`ll do it. Anything for my country, for sure," Dhawan said at the post-match press conference.
