Sagarika Ghatge: Meet the beautiful model-turned-actress who is now Zaheer Khan's fiance

She is the daughter of Vijayendra Ghatge, an actor who has appeared in several Hindi films like Devdas, Jhankaar Beats and few TV serials like Buniyaad.

In the film 'Chak De! India', a similar role was played by her where he dates a cricketer, but eventually turns him down due to his male chauvinism.

 

It is rumoured to have believed thaat she started dating her fiancee' Zaheer Khan, almost six months back.

Apart from acting, she has also been part of quite a few fashion shows across the globe.

She also took part in a TV reality show named Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 6), where she went on to become a finalist.

She also tried her luck at various regional language films like Marathi film named 'Premachi Goshta' in 2013 and then a Punjabi film titled 'Dildariyaan' in 2015.

Apart from 'Chak De! India', she has also acted in films like ‘Fox’, ‘Miley Naa Miley Hum’, ‘Rush’ and ‘Jee Bhar Ke Jee Lee’.

The 31-year-old also received the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress alongwith rest of the Chak De India girls

She was awarded with the Lions Gold Award for her remarkable performance in 'Chak De! India'.

The reason behind Sagarika's role in 'Chak De! India' was that she herself is a national level hockey player.

Whilst in college, she recieved quite a few offers to act in ad films, but her father strictly refused her to undertake them.
