President Donald Trump's tenure has revolved around several key moments and controversies. The latest one is him becoming the first president in the history of the US to be impeached twice.

No US president has ever been removed from office through impeachment. Though three presidents - Trump in 2019, Bill Clinton in 1998 and Andrew Johnson in 1868 - were impeached by the House but acquitted by the Senate.

Another recent controversy was the January 6 Capitol violence by the US President Donald Trump's supporters that resulted in five deaths and making the government officials impose unprecedented security surrounding the Capitol.

Donald Trump had also triggered several people on the Border wall row with Mexico.

For stopping illegal immigration, including from Mexico, Trump in January 2017 signed an Executive Order 13767, directing that a wall be built on the US-Mexico border. Following this, the construction started in 2019.

One of the key moments was when Donald Trump met North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore. The two leaders met for the first time in June 2018. It was the first such meeting between the leaders of the US and North Korea.

Trump and Kim had then met in Hanoi in February 2019.

Trump's tenure also witnessed widespread protests following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis Police.

The 'Black Lives Matter' (BLM) movement started from the US and then spread to other countries across the world.

Along with President Trump, the United States' First Lady Melania Trump has also been the talk of the town in the past four years. Melania, 50, was in the news recently amid reports that she is planning to divorce Donald Trump.

Notably, a new CNN/SSRS poll has said that Melania is leaving the White House as the least popular first lady at this point in the presidency since such surveys have been conducted.

The poll has put Melania’s favorability rating at 42 per cent and her unfavorability rating at 47 per cent.

Melania Trump's popularity has gone up and down in the past four years. As per a report, her unfavorability rating hit its lowest point, 27 per cent in May 2020.

Melania Trump was also in the news when she wore the controversial jacket that read -  Really don't care. Do U?

US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump has also been the talk of the town over the past few years. Recently, the White House adviser and her husband, Jared Kushner, were surrounded by a new controversy.

As per a report by Washington Post, the duo had instructed the US Secret Service agents not to use their toilet.

Ivanka had also grabbed the headlines when she took a u-turn on the Capitol Hills violence. Her popularity was affected when she first called pro-Trump supporters 'patriots', and later deleted the old tweet.

Ivanka had earlier addressed the angry Trump supporters as saying, ''American Patriots-any security breach or disrespect to our law enforcement is unacceptable. The violence is unacceptable. Please be respectful.''

She later clarified, "No. Peaceful protest is patriotic. Violence is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms.''
