Mumbai: Not just moviegoers, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be spellbound by SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali'. The trailer of the second half of the two-part magnum opus was unveiled yesterday and since then a speech from the PM’s UP campaign held last month, has been doing the rounds online!
Wonder why? Here’s the answer!
Well, the PM referred to Kattappa and Baahubali during one of his campaigns in UP last month, reports suggest.
Here’s a rough translation of the PM’s speech mentioning Baahubali - “A film titled ‘Baahubali’ had released sometime back. There was a character called Kattappa in the film, who destroyed Baahubali...” . On a related note, the PM during his speech also talked about a chhadi (stick) referring to it as the power of Law and that it would show its power on March 11.
According to a report in TOI, the PM’s video incidentally surfaced online on Thursday, a day when the trailer of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ was unveiled by the makers of the magnum opus.
