Tholi Prema: Varun Tej, Raashi Khanna-starrer rakes in moolah at the US Box Office!

New Delhi: South superstar Varun Tej and actress Raashi Khanna's latest film 'Tholi Prema' hit the screens in India on February 9, 2018. The Telugu romantic drama is directed by debutant Venky Atluri and produced by B V S N Prasad.

The film also stars Sapan Pabbi, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Suhasini Maniratnam, Vidyullekha Raman and Hyper aadhi and received a very positive response on Twitter. 

As people continue thronging the cinema halls to watch the romantic drama, the movie is a box-office success already, all because of its overseas collections. The film hit the theaters in the US on February 8, 2018. 

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the collection figures of the film. He wrote- "Telugu film #TholiPrema debuts at No 25 at USA BO on Fri... Thu previews $ 152,171 Fri $ 139,093 / 102 locations Total: $ 291,264 [₹ 1.87 cr] @Rentrak"

The movie's music is composed by S. Thaman while cinematography is done by George C Williams. Varun Tej has a huge fan base in the south. He made his debut with 'Mukunda' which was directed by Srikanth Addala opposite Pooja Hegde in 2014. Although he did star in father Nagendra Babu's film 'Hands Up!' as a child artist, but it was 'Mukunda' where he was launched as the main lead.
