AB De Villiers says finding Jacques Kallis` replacement now `top priority`

South Africa`s ODI captain A.B. de Villiers has said that finding a replacement for the retired all-rounder Jacques Kallis was a top priority for the squad as the countdown for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup gained force.

De Villiers said that Kallis would definitely be missed, and added that the all-rounder has had an amazing career, as the South African squad departed for a once-off Test against Zimbabwe on Saturday, which would be followed by a three-match ODI series. The new-look South Africa side comprised of fresh faces like Kagiso Rabada and Mthokozisi Shezi, while Rilee Rossouw has come in as a direct replacement for Kallis, who announced his retirement from international cricket last week, Sport24 reported. While hailing the new comers, De Villiers said that it is very exciting; the guys that came in are guys that have put up their hands in the last while. He added that the new guys showed them that they have got what it takes to perform at this level.
