South African cricketer AB de Villiers and his wife Danielle were blessed with a baby boy on Wednesday.

According to a tweet from the official handle of Cricket South Africa, the child is also called AB.

De Villiers is on paternity leave and for the first missed a Test match since making his debut in 2004 against England in Port Elizabeth. He has so far played 98 Test matches scoring 7606 runs, including 21 centuries.
