BCCI may postpone Annual General Meeting: Report

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may postponed its Annual Geneal Meeting (AGM), scheduled for September 27, according to a media report.

After the Supreme Court's (SC) decision to grant a two-month extension to the Mudgal committee to file its report on the IPL spot-fixing scandal, the delay seems inevitable.

For the time being, SC is not allowing N Srinivasan to take charge as president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and Shivlal Yadav is working as the interim president.

HOwever, cricket board authorities indicated that all accounts have to be signed by the "democratically elected president".

"The BCCI, as per constitution, doesn't have the provision for an interim president. Srinivasan has to sign all the documents before it can be placed before the working committee," a source close to the developments told Times of India.
