New Delhi: Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff said that he has got better chance of playing for England than Kevin Pietersen.

Flintoff, who is in Australia for the Big Bash League with Brisbane Heat, was quoted as saying "I have probably got more chance" about Pietersen's chances of an England comeback.

Pietersen was left out of England reckoning after their disastrous 5-0 Ashes whitewash in Australia. The controversial star batsman had previously announced his retirement in 2012, but alter returned to action. The 34-year-old is now mostly keep himself busy playing T20 leagues around the world.

Interestingly, Pietersen is already in Australia for the Big Bash.

Flintoff empathised with Pietersen's plight but said that it's better for the South African born to move on.

"As a player he's the type you want in your team... But whatever has happened over the past has happened. One of the hardest things is when teams move on without you - I have experienced that, it is hard to deal with," Flintoff said.

The 37-year-old also hailed KP's talent and said, he would love to play with him.

"Kev's a winner. He's exciting to watch. I'd love to play against him," he added.
