New Delhi: South African batsmen looked vulnerable against Indian spinners, thus far, in the four-match Test series.
The pair of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja exposed the visitors batting line-up on all three occasions.
So far, both the spinners have utilised the turning sub-continent tracks with good effect and hunted in pairs to pocket 12 wickets each.
However, it seems that South Africans have realised the fact that they have to play spin well to give some fight to the home team.
Ahead of the third Test, scheduled to start from November 25 in Nagpur, one of the senior most batsmen in the South African outfit, JP Duminy stated that they need to rectify their mistakes going forward.
“The guys have admitted to the fact that we made a few errors, especially in that first Test. We'd like to rectify it going forward.
“We understand that their strength lies in their spin and there's no point in trying to deny that. It's about having a game plan against it," Duminy was quoted as saying in ESPNCricinfo.
