New Delhi: Indian Premier League new franchise Pune may hire suspended side Chennai Super King's head coach Stephen Fleming.

According to a report in the Times of India, Pune who acquired CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Tuesday's draft as their first choice player, may appoint Fleming as the head coach as the duo could be reunited once again.

After Tuesday's draft, Sanjiv Goenka's brother Harsh had tweeted that Dhoni alongside Fleming as coach has built a formidable team. And that the winning choice was made for Team Pune.

On Tuesday's first IPL draft, the Pune franchise had bought five players -in franchise had bought five players -including CSK's Dhoni, Ravichandran Ashwin, Faf du Plessis and Rajasthan Royals' Ajinkya Rahane and Steven Smith.

On Wednesday Fleming told TOI that, he isn't in a position to talk about anything at the moment.

Chennai who has been the most consistent side in the IPL history had the successful duo of Dhoni and Fleming that helped them win two IPL titles apart from being runners-up thrice.

Pune will be trying to get their team management right in order to challenge for the IPL title in the coming two seasons.
