Tanmay and Akshath stitched together a 235-run opening partnership after Hyderabad resumed their second innings at 4-0 on the fourth and final day.

Tanmay hit 15 boundaries in his 229-ball innings, while Akshath cracked 10 fours and two sixes in his unbeaten 225-ball stay at the Krishnagiri Stadium.

Skipper Sachin Baby, who scored an unbeaten double century yesterday, was the only wicket-taker for Kerela as he dismissed Tanmay in the 73rd over with Raiphi Gomez taking the catch.

It was a solid batting display by Hyderabad after they were dismissed at 270 in their first innings. However, it will give them only one point as Kerala had surpassed Hyderabad's 1st innings, declaring at 447 for seven in 158 overs yesterday.
