Johnson picked both the Kiwi wickets which fell on the final day of the WACA Test. While Tom Latham was caught at deep fine leg trying to launch Johnson behind the stands, his opening partner Martin Guptill defended a bouncer into the hands of Joe Burns at short leg.
Since the news of his retirement broke, the cricket fraternity has hailed Johnson's aggression on the field and most of his Aussies team-mates have lauded him as 'the ultimate professional.'
Peter Siddle is likely to replace him for the next Test against New Zealand.
