New Delhi: Having missed the chance to swing his bat in his debut match, Yuvraj Singh took the chance with both hands when India play Australia in the first quarter-final of the ICC KnockOut tournament in October 2000 at Nairobi.
Then a 19-year-old, Yuvi announced his arrival as one of the greatest hitters of cricket ball, scoring 84 off 80 balls against an attack which had the likes of Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Jason Gillespie.

His batting effort, coupled with the run out of Michael Bevan, one of the greatest finishers of the game, at Gymkhana Club Ground helped India win the match by 20 runs.
