WATCH: Is Shah Rukh Khan 'straight'? Ramiz Raja asks Shoaib Akhtar during interview

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar share a great equation.

Though at the time of Akhtar's book launch, there was controversy regarding his contract with Kolkata Knight Riders, the duo has since then let bygones be bygones. 

More recently, SRK and Shoaib showcased bonhomie on a TV channel when the actor was promoting one of his films.

King Khan had also once backed participation of Pakistani players in the IPL after BCCI imposed a ban on them.

Fans also remember how Khan celebrated Akhtar's stunning display against Delhi Daredevils at the Eden Gardens, jumping with joy on him during the post-match presentation. 

This was precisely what Akhtar told Ramiz Raja during a 2008 interview, as he explained his experience of playing in SRK's team and love he recieved from the Kolkata crowd.

Shoaib praised SRK for being a great human being and spreading joy wherever he went.

Just then, Raja tried to joke with Akhtar and asked him if SRK was 'straight'.
