New Delhi: Australia's star batsman and skipper Steve Smith won big at the ICC cricket awards 2015 after having tremendous success with the bat.
Steve Smith won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year 2015. He also bagged the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year award.
The Australian skipper follows in the footsteps of his nation's predecessors Ricky Ponting (2006 and 2007), Mitchell Johnson (2009 and 2014) and Michael Clarke (2013) to lift the coveted trophy after the award's inception in 2004.
Steve Smith stated that given that there are so many great players around the world, he is incredibly honoured to receive this award.
