Apart from Xie Yalong, former vice president of the China Football Association (CFA), those held on graft charges were Wei Shaohui, ex-leader of the national soccer team, and Li Dongsheng, former head of the CFA`s referee commission, state-run Xinhua news agency reported quoting police.Separately, investigations against three other soccer referees accused of taking bribe and indulging in match- fixing, namely Lu Jun, Huang Junjie and Zhou Weixin, had concluded and the cases transferred to the prosecution. All three had confessed to their crimes.Lu Jun, who was once titled the "golden whistle" for his stellar performances on the football field, repeatedly apologised to his fans, the report said. PTI
