Manchester United submit list of released players to Premier League

New Delhi: English giants Manchester United on Wednesday submitted a list of released players to the FA Premier League.

The list, of five players, includes Tom Cleverley -- who has already agreed to join Everton on 1 July. The club had already submitted their retained list.

Besides Cleverley, goalkeeper Ben Amos, under-21 captain Tom Thorpe, Callum Evans and Ryan McConnell.

The Red Devils finished the 2014-15 EPL season fourth with 70 points behind champions Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal. Under their new manager Louis van Gaal, they won 20 games, and lost eight.
