Unless Oil India Limited (OIL) B spring a surprise, Williamson Magor A are sure to retain the championship title. OIL B at 152 saw D Thakuria record a 77 for McLeod Russel A. In Division II, OIL B led the field with a two-day total of 152 and their closest competition came from McLeod Russel H who are at 161. Division III has certainly been the exciting with Madhya Bharat Papers at 151 and new entrants Manaksia Ltd setting the pace at 154, thanks to a splendid 76 from Vishal Singhania. In the Challenge Cup, South India Projects through a fine display from Akash Tantia (35) retain their lead followed by Soni Rubber and Outlook Bright. The day`s top honours went to Luke Smith Goodricke B in Division I; S N Hussain McLeod Russel H in Division II who narrowly out paced Ranvir Bhandari of ITC -1. Jyoti Kumar of CLW Motive Power was the best in Division III. The `Straightest Drive` was won by Akash Tantia and the `Closest to the Pin` was won by B P Tiwary. Bureau Report
