Twitter Vinesh won all of her three league matches to win gold in the women's freestyle 50k division. Earlier, Neeraj Chopra registered his season-best distance of 86.47m to claim India's first athletics gold in this edition. Earlier, boxing legend Mary Kom won her first ever CWG medal, and it was gold in the women's 45-48kg. Her fellow boxer Gaurav Solanki also claimed the top spot on the podium in the men's 52kg category. In shooting, Sanjeev Rajput won gold in the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions. Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shankar Shetty won bronze in men's doubles table tennis. However, Sharath and Sathiyan lost their gold medal match and had to settle for silver. Boxer Vikas Krishan won gold in the 75kg category. But Satish Kumar lost his gold medal match in the +91kg category.

Sad news for India. Sharath and Sathiyan lose their gold medal table tennis match and will have to settle for silver. So is the case with boxer Satish Kumar, he loses his +91kg gold medal match against England's Frazer Clarke. India have now won 25 gold, 16 silver and 18 bronze.
England boxer Frazer Clarke is much taller than Satish, which means he has a better reach. This will be a tough bout for the Indian.
Sathiyan and Sharath lose the fourth game and the match goes into the decider. Remember, it's a gold medal match in men's doubles table tennis.
Sharath and Sathiyan win the third game to make it 2-1 in the gold medal table tennis match.
Meanwhile, Sharath and Sathiyan have won the second game to make it 1-1 in men's doubles table tennis gold medal match.
25th gold for India and Vikas Krishan does it. He has beaten Dieudonne Wilfried SEYI NTSENGUE 5-0 in the 75kg boxing category.
Now comes the big gold medal doubles match featuring Achanta Sharath and Sathiyan GNANASEKARAN against Paul DRINKHALL and Liam PITCHFORD of England.
Good result coming from men's doubles table tennis bronze medal match. India's Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shankar Shetty win their match against Singapore in three straight games 11-5 11-6 12-10 to take the country to its 18th bronze.
Indian men's hockey team loses their bronze medal match to England 2-1. Big disappointment for the hockey team. They were never a "gold' favourites but were certainly in the fray for silver and bronze. Hockey fans would be very disappointed.
Meanwhile, in the men's table tennis doubles bronze medal match, India's Harmeet Desai and Sanil Shankar Shetty have won the first two games 11-5 and 11-6. They need to win one more game to seal the deal for India.
India miss a big opportunity in front of goal through Dilpreet Singh. His full swing completely misses the ball. This has been India's story in this event. England continue to lead India 2-1.

Somveer wins bronze medal in men's freestyle 86kg wrestling beating Canada's Alexander Moore 7-3. That means India have won a medal in each of the 12 events they have competed in, in wrestling, at Gold Coast. Top job!
GOLD MEDAL NO. 23, AND A SPECIAL ONE!
Vinesh Phogat wins India's first women's wrestling gold in Gold Coast in the freestyle 50kg division after remaining undefeated in all of her three league matches.
GOLD VIA WALKOVER!
Wrestler Sumit wins gold medal in men's 125kg freestyle after his opponent in the final league match, Sinivie Boltic of Nigeria, withdrew injured. This is India's 22nd gold at the Games.
BRONZE MEDAL FOR INDIA
Bronze medallist Sakshi Malik wins her fourth league match 6-5 in a thriller against Tayla Ford of New Zealand to claim bronze medal. Sakshi lost 2/3 of her previous league matches to bow out of the gold-medal race.
ATHLETICS UPDATE
India ended up a poor 7th in the Women's 4x400m Relay Final. The Indian quartet was never in with a chance from start to finish, just about managed to avoid a last-place finish.
India's Arpinder Singh finishes fourth in the men's triple jump event. Finished with his best-registered distance of 16.46m.
ATHLETICS
India's Jinson Johnson finishes fifth in the Men's 1500m Final. Misses out on a medal but shatters the National Record with a timing of 3:37.86.

GOLD NO. 21 FOR INDIA AND THE FIRST IN CWG 2018 ATHLETICS
Neeraj Chopra wins a historic gold medal in men's javelin throw with a distance of 86.47m, which is also his season best. Vipin Kashan finishes fifth with a distance of 77.87m.

MEN'S JAVELIN THROW FINAL
Neeraj Chopra's stay No.1 with 85.50. He had a fault throw in his second attempt and got a distance of 84.78 in his third. Grenada's Anderson Peters is at second place but well behind the Indian at 82.20.
SINDHU VS SAINA FOR GOLD
The two India rivals and teammates will meet in the final of women's singles final after Sindhu defeated Canada's Michelle Li in the second semifinal in straight games.
BADMINTON UPDATE
HS Prannoy loses 16-21, 21-9, 14-21 to Malaysian legend Lee Chong Wei in the men's singles semifinal. Lee will face world No. 1 Kidambi Srikkanth for gold tomorrow.

Neeraj Chopra storms into the first position with his first throw of 85.50. Vipin Kashan got a distance of 72.16 in his first attempt.

SAINA IN FINAL!
Badminton ace Saina Nehwal got a tough fight from Kirsty Gilmour of Scotland in the women's singles semifinal but won 21-14, 18-21, 21-17 in the end. She may meet PV Sindhu for gold. Sindhu is playing Michelle Li of Canada in the other semifinal.
SILVER MEDAL ALERT!
Boxer Manish Kaushik claims silver medal in the men's 60kg division after losing to Harry Garside of Australia in the final with a split decision delivered by the judges.
INDIA BOX TO ANOTHER GOLD!
Boxer Gaurav Solanki wins men's 52kg gold medal beating Northern Ireland's Brendan Irvine with a split decision in the final. This is India's 19 Gold Medal at Gold Coast 2018.

DEFENDING CHAMPS IN FINAL!
The champion Indian pair of Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal is through to the women's doubles final. They defeated England's Sarah-Jane Perry and Laura Massaro 11-10, 11-5 in the semifinal.
SILVER MEDAL FOR INDIA
Boxer Amit Phangal settles for second position on the podium after losing his men's 46-49kg final to England's Galal Yafai in a split 1-3 decision.
BADMINTON UPDATE
Defeat for the Indian women's doubles team of Ashwini-Sikki in the semifinals. They exited the event after a 21-17, 15-21, 4-21 defeat against the Malaysians.
WRESTLING UPDATE AFTER MORNING SESSION ENDS
1. Vinesh's last league match against Canada's Jessica MacDonald in the women's freestyle 50kg division with be for gold. She and Jessica have won their two respective matches so far.
2. Rio Olympics bronze medallist Sakshi Malik will be disappointed as she is out of the gold-medal race after losing two of her three league matches so far.
3. Sumit (125kg) may win gold without wrestling in the last league match as his Nigerian opponent Sinivie Boltic has 'reportedly' withdrawn due to injury. It's not official yet.

The Indian boxing legend takes on Kristina O'Hara in the women's 45-48 kg final. First round ends and it's difficult to pick a winner here.
GOOD NEWS FROM SHOOTING
Sanjeev Rajput and Chain Singh through to the final of men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions. Sanjeev broke the CWG Qualifying record with 1180 points to finish on top while Chain Singh registered 1166 points for a second place.
WRESTLING UPDATE
Somveer out of contention for men's freestyle 86kg gold as he loses to Pakistan's Muhammad Inam in the 1/4 Final.

India trail England 0-2 in women's bronze medal match. Last quarter (fourth) in progress.

Vinesh wins her first women's Freestyle 50kg match. But Sakshi loses her second match of 62kg division to Canada's Michelle Fazzari. Both events being played in round-robin Nordic format.
Looks like shooters Sanjeev Rajput and Chain Singh have qualified for the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions Final with record scores. Awaiting official confirmation as the event is still in progress.
SAD NEWS FROM TABLE TENNIS
India's challenge in mixed doubles TT ends after a fighting second semifinal. Manika Batra/Sathiyan lost first two games 8-11, 10-12. Then won the next two 11-5, 11-8 to make it 2-2. But lost the decider 13-15.
Hockey
England have scored the first goal of the bronze-medal match against India in the second quarter to take a 1-0 lead. England's No. 20 Hollie Pearne-Webb scored off a PC.
Meanwhile, a stunning comeback by Manika / Sathiya in second mixed doubles TT semis. After losing the first two games against the England pair, they win next two to make it 2-2.
Shooting: In the Men's 50m Rifle 3 positions qualification, kneeling and prone rounds are over and the final standing round is on. Sanjeev Rajput and Chain Singh in top three. Top eight reach the finals.
WRESTLING
Medal hopes Sakshi Malik (62kg) and Somveer (86kg) have won their respective opening matches in the wrestling arena.
Also in progress is the women's hockey bronze-medal match between India and England, where it is 0-0 after 8 minutes in the first quarter.
