New Delhi: Ace Malaysian shuttler Lee Chong Wei is keen to win a medal in this year's biggest sporting extravaganza - Rio Olympics, which is scheduled to kick-off from July.

Former world number one, who is currently playing for Hyderabad Hunters in the Premier Badminton League (PBL) has set his eyes on Rio as he told PTI, “I hope to qualify and win a medal in the Olympics.”

The ageing 33-year-old shuttler, who won a silver medal in 2008 Beijing Olympics, revealed that this years multi-sporting event would be his last.

"I hope to qualify (for Olympics) and focused on that. I would like to be injury-free. This is my last Olympics and I will fight for it," he said.

Wei also hailed Indian shuttlers - Saina Nehwal, P V Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth by saying that they are capable of achieving many more big victories.
