Jaipur: With the Pro-Kabaddi league entering pink city Jaipur, the hosts Pink Panther are looking forward to make most of playing on their home turf.
The franchisee, owned by Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, is currently standing at second position with 35 points after playing nine matches and will try to grab the pole position from U Mumba who are just three points ahead after playing 11 matches, in this leg starting tomorrow.
"Our team has had some strong victories in the league till date and shall continue to build on our winning momentum," Bachchan told reporters.
The leg to be played at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium, will also set forth the battle for spots in play offs and finals to be held in Mumbai at the end of this month.
A tough competition is also expected as Patna Pirates and Bengaluru Bulls are only a few points away.
Patna Pirates, with 34, and Bengaluru Bulls with 30 points in their kitty are strong contenders for a semi-final berth along with Pink Panthers and U Mumba but close on their heels are Telegu Titans and Dabang Delhi with 28 and 26 points who can also emerge as a dark horse.
