SHOCKING! CID claim threat to Narsingh Yadav's life at SAI's Sonepat training camp

New Delhi: The Sushil Kumar-Narsingh Yadav saga got more messy, as Haryana Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) claimed there was a threat to the latter's life at Sports Authority of India's (SAI) training camp in Sonepat.

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, officials from CID visited the center twice in two days this week to keep an eye on the Mumbai-based wrestler.

Not just CID officials, but the local police too visited the center on Thursday.

“I am aware of the report but I don’t think anyone will deliberately hurt me. We are like brothers so I am not bothered,” Narsingh told HT.

“We have to apprise the federation of this situation. We will write to it possibly by Friday,” said his coach Jagmal Singh.

After this report emerged, SAI administrator Radhica Sreeman wrote a letter to director general Injeti Srinivas, requesting him to move Narsingh and his sparring partners to another venue. The request however was turned down.

SAI authorities are constant touch with the police regarding the matter.
