New Delhi: The 2016 Rio Olympics might have left a bad taste in the mouth of fans all across India, with several big names failing to win a medal.
India couldn't bag a gold medal in the recently concluded Olympic Games, with PV Sindhu's silver in women's singles badminton being the best outcome.
But now India do have a gold medal to celebrate. Para-athlete Mariyappan Thangavelu claimed top spot in men's T42 High Jump at the Rio Paralympics.
