New Delhi: Australian rising sensation Nick Kyrgios has taken his bad boy antics to a new level, after delivering a stunning on-court sledge to Stan Wawrinka. Kyrgios told the two-time Grand Slam champion that fellow Australian player Thanasi Kokkinakis slept with his girlfriend.
Shortly after losing the first set in Thursday’s match at the Montreal Masters, Kyrgios lashed out at Stan by delivering this scathing comment. It’s believed Kyrgios’ comment was is in reference to 19-year-old Croatian player Donna Vekic, whom both Wawrinka and Kokkinakis have been linked to.
Stan Wawrinka who retired from the match was trailing Kyrgios 7-6, 3-6, 0-4. Wawrinka responded by stating that he is disappointed to see a fellow tennis player to be disrespectful in a way he couldn't imagine.
He expressed his views on social micro-blogging site, Twitter.
So disappointing to see a fellow athlete and colleague be so disrespectful in a way I could never even imagine.

Wawrinka further claimed that he wouldn't have said those words to his enemy and slammed Kyrgios' comments as unacceptable. Wawrinka added that the governing body should not stand for this kind of behaviour and rather for the integrity of the sport that the players are working hard to build.
What was said I wouldn't say to my worst enemy. To stop so low is not only unacceptable but also beyond belief.

There is no need for this kind of behaviour on or off the court and I hope the governing body of this sport does not stand...
