In a candid statement, Kerala Minister M.B. Rajesh said it’s impractical to remove all stray dogs in the state, highlighting the scale of the issue.

In a significant move for public safety, Chandigarh has banned six aggressive dog breeds, including Pitbulls and Rottweilers, under its newly notified pet bye-laws.  

The Central government has intensified its efforts to manage the stray dog population and reduce dog bite incidents across the country.
