CBSE OSM controversy: Officials said COEMPT engineers assisted during the transition phase by helping technical teams understand sections of the code, facilitating data migration, and implementing security-related modifications.

The appointments have been made amid growing concerns and criticism over CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) system used for Class 12 board examinations this year.

The opposition on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Central Government over the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system row, demanding stricter action and the dismissal of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

According to the board, the portal went live on schedule and continued to operate smoothly from 7 am onward.

CBSE OSM row: The Class 12 student from Jharkhand was invited to brief the committee amid growing concerns over the implementation of the OSM system, 

The student body has sought reopening of the verification process, manual checking of answer sheets in disputed cases, and an independent inquiry into the functioning of the digital evaluation system.
