Iris Dena visited India between Feb 17 and Feb 25 for the International Fleet Review 2026 and MILAN 2026 organised by the Indian Navy. India has also invited the US navy to participate in the event but America was represented by its officers only as no warships turned for the IFR, mainly due to preparations for the Iran war.

Reports suggest the Trump administration is in talks with Kurdish opposition groups about supplying arms as the US–Israel war with Iran intensifies. If confirmed, the move would revive a long US strategy of backing Kurdish forces to pressure regional governments, and risk widening the conflict.

US-Iran War: According to figures released by the Iranian Red Crescent Society, at least 787 people have been killed in Iran since the United States and Israel launched strikes on the country on Saturday. 

CENTCOM said Operation Epic Fury “involves the largest regional concentration of American military firepower in a generation."

Trump also spoke about the first confirmed US casualties in the conflict, while acknowledging the losses. 

According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, the country’s air defence systems successfully intercepted and destroyed a fresh barrage of missiles and drones launched from Iran. The ministry said the operation was executed with “high efficiency” and led to only limited material damage.
