Amazing! World's tallest temple taking shape in Vrindavan

Vrindavan: World's tallest temple would be built at this famed holy town of Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh and its developers hope to attract millions of devotees of Lord Krishna after this iconic structure is completed.

This colossal 700-foot Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will be secured to the ground with reinforced concrete pillars, the temple developers said.

“When visitors will associate with this holy land and vividly experience Krishna Lila, they will find spiritual happiness and vital clues to a life of purity and serenity,” the developers said on their website.

The temple, which is currently under construction, is expected to be taller than the Mughal era Qutab Minar, built by the founder of Delhi sultanate Qutb ud din Aibak in 11 century.

“Lord Sri Krishna, through His timeless message in the Bhagavad Gita, has shaped the intellectual, cultural and religious mindscape of India for millennia,” the temple developers said.

According to the Hindu scriptures, Lord Krishna was born in Mathura, some 12 km from Vrindavan, where He had spent most of his time in childhood.
