Priced at Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom), the NS200 now gets USD forks, it is 3 kilos lighter, and delivers a claimed mileage of 37 kmpl.
The Pulsar NS160 is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh, and it is now the cheapest motorcycle to get upside-down forks in India. It delivers a mileage of 45 kmpl, claimed.
The Pulsar NS range doesn't get many changes in terms of design, other than new paint jobs and graphics.
No crucial changes are made to the engines. The NS160 gets an oil-cooled unit, while the NS200 gets a liquid-cooled unit with a 4-valve setup, with 5-speed and 6-speed gearboxes, respectively.
The upside-down forks are the biggest change of all on the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and NS160. They have reduced unsprung mass on motorcycles.
Both Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 now get dual-channel ABS as standard fitment across the range.
Changes in this aspect are limited to the addition of distance to empty and fuel consumption readouts.
