Accidents due to rash driving are quite common in India. The recent case of the Porsche accident in Pune is one such example of careless driving which cost two lives.

Rash driving increases the chance of accidents which can be a serious threat not only to your life but also to the people on the road.

In the age of social media, people are engaged in stunts on roads to get popularity which is also a part of rash driving and can cause harm to the people.

In order to make roads more safe, government has introduced various punishments and panelties for traffic rules offenders.

In India, first time rash driving can lead to Imprisonment of 6 months to 1 year and/or Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,000 penalty.

If you get caught for the second time you can face imprisonment of up to 2 years and/or up to Rs. 10,000 penalty.

It is advised not to indulge in rash driving to avoid life threatning accidents on roads.
