Developed jointly with Bajaj, motorcycles will debut in India on July 5.
A 398 cc single-cylinder motor puts out 40 PS against 37.5 Nm of max torque, channelled via a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle uses a 300 mm front disc and the suspension setup comprises USD on front and a monoshock at rear.
The Scrambler uses a larger 19-inch wheel at the front, with a bigger 320 mm front rotor.
The Speed 400 is rather manageable at a seat height of 790 mm, while the Scrambler 400 X's measure at 835 mm.
Both of these bikes come with upswept exhaust systems, but the Scrambler gets a dual-barrel unit.
Off-road style foot pegs are used on the Scrambler 400 X, along with hand guards.
The binaccle uses an analogue clock for the speedometer, along with a small MID.
A circular LED headlamp is used on both of these motorcycles.
The motorcycle gets protection for the radiator, sump, and headlamps.
