He did a tremendous job on his Test debut against England and even scored a fifty for India D in the Duleep Trophy but still, he didn’t get a chance.
He is currently leading India D in the Duleep Trophy and hasn’t played for India in tests since the Vizag game against England.
India has many spots in the middle order and with that Virat Kohli is also back. He even failed to get going in three tests as he played against England.
He is slowly getting back to his best form but to get a chance in the team he has to do something extraordinary.
He did well for India B with both bat and ball but he is far away from a test comeback for India, last played for India at Gabba.
He too is a part of the Duleep Trophy but has not played for India for long in Test matches and unfortunately might have played his last for the team for some time.
Now that Rishabh Pant is back, Bharat might not be in the scheme of things and he hasn’t done enough to warrant a recall.
