2023

The 2023 theme celebrated Raigad Fort and paid respect to the late famous art director, Nitin Desai, who had worked with the organization since 2008.

2022

Celebrations began on a huge, pre-pandemic scale in 2022, for the first time after two years of covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

2021

Due to Covid-19 limits, the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshostav Mandal created a 4-foot idol rather than the typical 14-footer.

2020

As Covid-19 was at its height in 2020, the committee decided not to celebrate the customary Ganeshotsav and instead established an 'Arogya Utsav', a 10-day blood donation camp for devotees.

2019

Santosh Kamble sculpted the 2019 idol, which is accompanied with Nitin Desai's installation. It was dedicated to India's most recent space mission, Chandrayaan 2.

2018

In 2018, Lalbaugcha Raja became 85 years old. To honor the event, the Kamble family installed a 15-foot-tall Ganesha statue.

2017

For 2017, the Pandal has a golden Raj Mahal motif. The subject was 'Kurma', the second turtle form of the Hindu deity Vishnu and a symbol of longevity.

2016

The motif for Lord Ganesha's throne in 2016 was 'Owl', Goddess Laxmi's vahan.

2015

Late Nitin Chandrakant Desai, the renowned art director, began designing Lord Ganesha's throne in 2015.

2014

In 2011, the Kambli family became the first idol sculptors to patent the Lalbaugcha Raja idol design, as demand for reproductions increased and numerous other sculptors began duplicating the idol's style and attributes.
