Video Games based movies need to build up a plot for the audience to understand and connect with the characters which cannot be done in a 3-hour movie.
This movie is based on a novel series written by Stephen King. The novel is a total of 4K+ pages and the movie cannot cover the whole novel in 3 hours. It would’ve been a good TV Series though.
The movie was based on a graphic novel, but it’s focus shifted from the source material to action and violence. A TV Series would’ve been better as it could’ve dive deeper in the storyline.
The Christopher Nolan Movie was a great hit but it would’ve been great as a TV Series as there were so many things happening in a scene which confused the audience.
The Marvel movie could’ve done a better job as a TV Series to show the immortal beings living as normal people with no memory. It was initially decided to be released as a TV Series.
The movie based on a Zombie Apocalypse Novel was a great hit but according to the audience the movie didn’t catch the true essence of the novel. It’s series would’ve been able to capture more characters and their emotions that was needed in the movie.
The movie was not able to capture itself as a Prequel of the Harry Potter series. If made as a series, it could’ve focused on a new beast per episode and explored the Wizarding World.
