Shri Sidhbali Temple is an ancient Siddhpeeth Temple of Bajrangbali Ji situated in Pauri Garhwal District on the banks of river Khoh of Kotdwar.
According to the legend, Hanuman Ji was born in Gautam Kund in Chandrabani, Dehradun. Anjana, the daughter of Gautam Rishi, did penance and gave birth to Hanuman Ji.
In this temple, Ravana worshiped the ten Rudras of Lord Shiva and recited the ten-headed Ravana while chanting Mahamrityunjaya.
The most prominent name among these temples is Baba Neem Karauli Kainchi Dham,It is said that after reaching here, those who bow their heads with true heart become spoiled.
The mythological statement is that in the legend of Mahabharata, Bhima was proud of his power, Hanuman ji met Bhima as an old monkey at this place and crushed his arrogance.
It is believed that when Lakshman fainted while fighting with Meghnad, Hanuman JI came to Uttarakhand to collect Sanjeevani Booti on the advice of Shreshyan Vaidya. At that time he rested for some time in Auli.
This temple was built by Neem Karoli Baba Ji in 1950. In this temple, The idols of Lord Rama-Sita Ji and Lord Krishna are made of Ashtadhatu.
