Omega 3-rich foods help to reduce inflammation symptoms. So PCOS patients must include flaxseeds, walnuts and almonds, salmon fish, and olives in the diet. Avocado is also a good option for omega-3 fatty acids.
One should avoid refined and processed foods and focus on high-fiber foods like millet, green leafy vegetables, berries broccoli, and beans.
One must add lentils and lean protein like chicken, fish, and tofu to the diet.
One must include low-GI foods in the diet. Low GI includes whole grains, legumes and beans, green leafy vegetables, nuts, and seeds.
